The Carolina Vipers make the most of 4 hits in 4-3 victory over the Concord Weavers

The Carolina Vipers (16-8) and the Concord Weavers (8-16) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Carolina Vipers that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-3 win at Charlotte Latin.

The Concord Weavers had no answer for Dunning, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Concord Weavers managed just one hit off of Dunning, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

David Dunlavey was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Carolina Vipers batters and allowing two runs.

Chandler Jenkins (0-2) took the loss for the Concord Weavers. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed no runs.
