The Concord Weavers (4-9) jumped on the Team Charlotte (3-11) early on their way to a 6-2 win on Saturday at Concord HS in seven innings, scoring four runs in the first inning.
The Concord Weavers scored in the first on an RBI single by Shawn Parsons, an RBI double by Jackson Massey, a groundout by Matthew Freeman, and an RBI single by Nick Weston.
It was a good day at the plate for the Concord Weavers' Weston. Weston went 2-3 and scored one run.
