The Carolina Vipers outdone by Jones and the SBA Bones, 6-5

Eric Jones drove in four runs as the SBA Bones (8-4) took home a 6-5 victory over the Carolina Vipers (9-4) in seven innings at Charlotte Christian on Friday.

He singled in the third and fifth innings and homered in the seventh inning.

Andrew Vaccacio pitched lights out for the SBA Bones. The Carolina Vipers managed just one hit off of the the SBA Bones' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Brett Branton reached base three times in the game for the Carolina Vipers. He scored one run and had one RBI.

David Pattinson recorded his first win of the year for the SBA Bones. Pattinson struck out two, walked two and gave up one hit.

Hunter Dodson couldn't get it done on the mound for the Carolina Vipers, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
