Bailey Lewis collected three hits, helping the SBA Bones (4-1) to a 5-4 victory over the Lake Norman Copperheads (0-5) on Wednesday at Hough High School.

The Lake Norman Copperheads had no answer for David Pattinson, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Lake Norman Copperheads managed just one hit off of the the SBA Bones' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his 1 2/3 innings of work.

JD Huggins racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Lake Norman Copperheads. He homered in the second inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Ross Kemp recorded his first win of the year for the SBA Bones. He allowed one run over three innings. Kemp struck out four, walked one and gave up two hits.

Adam Hornstra was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
