Pleasants helps the Olympic down the Tacoma 4-2

Marcus Pleasants went 2-4, sparking the Olympic (11-17) to a 4-2 victory in seven innings over the Tacoma (21-6) on Tuesday at Titan Field .

He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

The Tacoma couldn't get anything going so long as Jacob Price was on the hill. The Tacoma managed just one hit off of Price, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Mason Elliott racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Tacoma. He homered in the fourth inning.

Trey Dennis improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Olympic. He allowed two runs over five innings. Dennis struck out two, walked two and gave up five hits.

Jared Welander ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed no runs.
