Josh Williams had two extra base hits, helping the DuPage Drones (22-19) to a 6-3 victory over the Quincy Gems (19-23) on Thursday at Benedictine Sports Complex.

The Quincy Gems' lineup had no answer for Anthony Olson. The Quincy Gems managed just one hit off of Olson, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his two innings of work.

Frankie Perrone racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Quincy Gems. He homered in the seventh inning.

Sam Huser (4-1) took the loss for the Quincy Gems. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.

The DuPage Drones were sparked by Aaron Meyer and Williams, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs.
