Jett Swetland had two extra base hits, sparking the Champion City Kings (14-23) to a 5-0 victory over the Chillicothe Paints (18-19) on Friday at Davidson Stadium.

Danny Sexton brought the heat against the Chillicothe Paints during his outing. The Chillicothe Paints managed just three hits off of Sexton, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his 4 2/3 innings of work.

Zane Collins improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Champion City Kings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Jack Szott (1-1) took the loss for the Chillicothe Paints. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

The Champion City Kings' Lee Sponseller, Aaron Bond and Swetland combined for six hits and three RBIs.
