Brian Hobbie threw a shutout to lift the Terre Haute Rex (20-16) to a 6-0 win over the Kokomo Jackrabbits (19-17) at Bob Warn Field.

Hobbie held the Kokomo Jackrabbits scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on five hits while ringing up three.

The Terre Haute Rex blew out the Kokomo Jackrabbits thanks to 11 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Terre Haute Rex scored three runs in the third on the Terre Haute Rex scored in the third on a two-run single by Niko Decolati and an RBI single by Andy De Jesus.

Decolati racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Terre Haute Rex.

Ryan Lee (1-3) took the loss for the Kokomo Jackrabbits. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
