An outstanding effort by Kyle Huckaby led the DuPage Drones (20-16) to a 7-0 win over the Hannibal Cavemen (9-25) on Monday at Benedictine Sports Complex.

Huckaby held the Hannibal Cavemen scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on six hits while striking out six.

The offense exploded for the the DuPage Drones in the second. The Hannibal Cavemen had no answer as the DuPage Drones scored four runs. The DuPage Drones scored in the second on a single by Imani Willis, a single by Brad Hartman, a single by Will Farmer, and a solo home run by Aaron Meyer.

Meyer racked up three RBIs on two hits for the DuPage Drones.

Lake Genard (0-3) took the loss for the Hannibal Cavemen. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
