The Champion City Kings (12-20) didn't stand a chance on Friday, as the Butler BlueSox (15-17) captured a blowout 7-1 win at Davidson Stadium.

The Butler BlueSox scored three runs in the fifth on the Butler BlueSox scored in the fifth on an RBI double by Will Schneider, an RBI double by Jamie Switalski, and an RBI single by Tommy Baggett.

Pavin Parks racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Butler BlueSox. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Alex Wagner picked up the win for the Butler BlueSox. Wagner pitched 6 2/3 innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out three.

Ben Hughes (3-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
