Walter Talcott threw seven scoreless innings to lift the Lafayette Aviators (21-19) to a 9-0 win over the Danville Dans (22-18) at Danville Stadium.

The Lafayette Aviators continued to pile on the runs until the end of the game. The Lafayette Aviators scored three runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win. The Lafayette Aviators scored five runs in the fifth on the Lafayette Aviators scored in the fifth on a hit by pitch, a two-run single by Bryce Evans, and a triple by Riley Benner.

Benner racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Lafayette Aviators.

Paul Richan was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked two and struck out four.
