Trevor Foss hopes every outing could go as well as Friday, as Foss struck out seven batters to carry the Washington Wild Things (12-12) to a 5-1 victory over the Lake Erie Crushers (13-10) at All Pro Freight Stadium.

Ricky Rodriguez led the Washington Wild Things' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He singled in the second and third innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

Connor Oliver had two extra-base hits for the Lake Erie Crushers. He doubled in the sixth inning and tripled in the eighth inning.

Colin Feldtman (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
