An exceptional effort by Alexi Colon led the River City Rascals (14-8) to a 19-4 win over the Florence Freedom (7-15) on Wednesday at CarShield Field.

Colon racked up eight RBIs on five hits for the River City Rascals. He doubled in the first and fourth innings, singled in the sixth inning, and homered in the fourth and eighth innings.

The River City Rascals didn't let up, as they kept racking up runs until the end. The River City Rascals scored three runs in the last three innings to finish off the blowout win. Isaac Wenrich got on base three times in the game for the Florence Freedom. He singled in the second and eighth innings.

Patrick McGrath (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 13 runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out one.

The River City Rascals hammered the Florence Freedom pitching as eight hitters had a field day, combining for 22 hits, 16 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
