Mike Fish went 4-4 at the plate as the Normal CornBelters (5-12) took home a 6-1 victory over the Washington Wild Things (9-7) at The Corn Crib on Wednesday.

The Normal CornBelters got the win thanks in large part to Michael Schweiss's dominant, eight-strikeout performance. Schweiss allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk over seven innings.

Conner Kendrick was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
