Riley Moore went 2-3 as the Southern Illinois Miners (9-8) took home a 4-2 victory over the Windy City ThunderBolts (14-4) at Standard Bank Stadium on Thursday.
He singled in the sixth and seventh innings.The Southern Illinois Miners got the win thanks in large part to Josh Kimborowicz's dominant, 11-strikeout performance. Kimborowicz allowed one earned run, five hits and four walks over seven innings.
Clay Chapman (1-1) took the loss for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
