Craig Massoni racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Gateway Grizzlies. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.
Jason Ziegler improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the River City Rascals. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered five hits.
