Coco Johnson collected three hits, helping the Windy City ThunderBolts (8-1) to a 6-3 victory over the Schaumburg Boomers (1-8) on Sunday at Schaumburg Boomers Stadium.

Dusty Robinson was solid at the plate for the Schaumburg Boomers. Robinson went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the first, sixth, and seventh innings.

Derek DeYoung had an impressive outing against the Windy City ThunderBolts' lineup. The Windy City ThunderBolts managed just one hit off of DeYoung, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Jake Fisher improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Fisher struck out three, walked three and gave up nine hits.

Brett Mabry (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out three.
