The Joliet Slammers (3-4) continued to pile up the runs on Saturday, scoring four runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 12-2 landslide win over the Normal CornBelters (3-3) at The Corn Crib.
The Joliet Slammers scored six runs in the fifth on the Joliet Slammers scored in the fifth on a fielder's choice, a single by Alfredo Rodriguez, a double by Marc Flores, , and a solo home run by Boo Vazquez.
Vazquez racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Joliet Slammers.
