The Cincinnati Steam (14-10) put in a full day's work in an 11-inning, 7-4 win over the Richmond Jazz (8-16) Sunday at McBride Stadium.
With the score tied at four, Andy Roser came to the plate and singled, plating Jake Richmond and Cole Murphy.
Murphy paced the Cincinnati Steam at the plate. Murphy went 1-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the second inning.
Jonathon Diefel got the win for the Cincinnati Steam. He allowed one run over two innings. Diefel struck out three, walked two and gave up three hits.
