The S Ohio Copperheads (17-16) didn't have a chance on Wednesday, as the Grand Lake Mariners (18-16) won in blowout fashion, 9-2 at Bob Wren Stadium.

A three-run home run by Tyler Paulsen delivered the runs in the sixth. The Grand Lake Mariners had two hits in the inning.

Paulsen racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Grand Lake Mariners.

Alex Valasek struck out seven hitters en route to the the Grand Lake Mariners win. Valasek allowed two earned runs, three hits and no walks over six innings.

Tyler Straley (3-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
