Brad Baldwin went 3-3 at the plate, sparking the S Ohio Copperheads (20-18) to a 7-6 victory in eight innings over the Licking County Settlers (19-18) on Thursday at Bob Wren Stadium.
He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fourth and sixth innings.Robert Emery racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Licking County Settlers. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Luke Hansen got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered no hits.
Steven Ghiardi couldn't get it done on the hill for the Licking County Settlers, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
