Ted Williams collected three hits, helping the S Ohio Copperheads (5-7) to an 8-3 victory over the Richmond Jazz (2-10) on Friday at Bob Wren Stadium.
He singled in the second, third, and fifth innings.Wade Martin picked up the win for the S Ohio Copperheads. Martin allowed two earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out five over seven innings of work.
John Troll (0-3) took the loss for the Richmond Jazz. He allowed seven runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out three.
