The Hamilton Joes outlast the Licking County Settlers in high-scoring affair, 14-11

Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Thursday as the Hamilton Joes (22-12) outscored the Licking County Settlers (18-15) 14-11.

The teams totaled 24 hits in the game.

Tyler Thamann racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Hamilton Joes. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Cameron Ross had an impressive outing against the Licking County Settlers' lineup. The Licking County Settlers managed just two hits off of the the Hamilton Joes' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Bo Decker racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Licking County Settlers. He homered in the fourth inning.

Alex Cain improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Hamilton Joes. He allowed two runs over 1 2/3 innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered five hits.

Ethan Walker (1-3) took the loss for the Licking County Settlers. He allowed 11 runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out four.
