The Lorain County Ironmen (13-21) didn't stand a chance on Wednesday, as the Licking County Settlers (18-14) captured a blowout 12-5 win at Don Edwards Stadium.

Kyle Hubbuch racked up two RBIs on four hits for the Licking County Settlers. He singled in the fourth, fifth, and seventh innings.

Michael Flax put together a nice outing. The Lorain County Ironmen managed just one hit off of Flax, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his 1 2/3 innings of work.

Dan Elliott reached base four times in the game for the Lorain County Ironmen. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the second and ninth innings.

Bryan Cruse improved to 4-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Licking County Settlers. He allowed four runs over five innings. Cruse struck out four, walked one and gave up eight hits.

Logan Heffernan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked one and struck out one.
