The Licking County Settlers (13-10) used a five-run explosion in the seventh inning to get past the Lake Erie Monarchs (7-15) 10-2 on Wednesday at Flat Rock Field.

Vaage racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Licking County Settlers.

The Licking County Settlers relied on Kaleb Kirk to eat up innings en route to the win. Kirk pitched six innings and allowed two earned runs, four hits and no walks while striking out three.

Ross Haffey got on base three times in the game for the Lake Erie Monarchs. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He homered in the fourth inning.

Robert Zenas (0-5) took the loss for the Lake Erie Monarchs. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
