The Lima Locos (13-4) built an early edge on Thursday, but the Grand Lake Mariners (12-4) roared back to steal a 3-2 victory at Coldwater Park Baseball Field.
The Grand Lake Mariners took the lead in the eighth inning on an RBI single by Tyler Paulsen.
Payton Coddou picked up the win for the Grand Lake Mariners. Coddou allowed two earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out five over nine innings of work.
Bailey Martin pitched lights out for the Lima Locos. Martin gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out two during his five innings of work.
Casey Mulcahy (0-1) took the loss for the Lima Locos. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
