A four-run eighth inning sealed a 9-1 win for the Prairie Baseball Academy over the Walla Walla (6-2) on Sunday at Warrior Field .
The Prairie Baseball Academy scored in the eighth on an RBI double by Braun, a sacrifice fly by Borman, a groundout by Brittany, a single by Witbeck, a hit by pitch, and a double by Wheatley.
The Walla Walla were ahead early but they ultimately surrendered the lead for good. The Walla Walla were ahead until the fifth inning, but the Prairie Baseball Academy would not be denied the win, taking the lead back on a two-run triple by Witbeck.
Witbeck racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Prairie Baseball Academy.
Dalton picked up the win for the Prairie Baseball Academy. Dalton allowed no earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out five over six innings of work.
Cameron Walker was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
