The Edmonds (3-1) took down the Green River 7-1 on Saturday at Triton Field after slamming the Green River (0-2) with four runs in the third inning.
The Edmonds scored in the third on an RBI single by Jesse Moore, a single by Moore, and a three-run home run by Steven Weber.
Weber racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Edmonds.
Chandler Arends's seven strikeouts were enough to push the Edmonds past the Green River. Arends allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks over five innings.
Joey Muscarnera brought the heat against the Edmonds during his outing. Muscarnera held the Edmonds hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.
Andrew Snook (0-1) took the loss for the Green River. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
