Mooney struck out five and allowed no walks and six hits.

Ricky Surum was hot from the plate for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. Surum went 3-4. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Andrew Misiaszek (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
