Rafael Bournigal went 2-4 and hit a home run, sparking the Worcester Bravehearts (26-9) to a 4-3 victory over the Bristol Blues (16-19) on Friday at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitto.

Pat McGowan had an impressive outing against the Bristol Blues' lineup. McGowan held the Bristol Blues hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Zach Scott hit two home runs for the Bristol Blues. Scott went 2-4 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Scott homered in the fourth and sixth innings.

Frankie Moscatiello improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Worcester Bravehearts. He allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out six, walked one and surrendered four hits.

Scott Creedon (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just eight innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
