Alex Lewis went 1-4 and hit a home run, sparking the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (13-15) to an 8-3 victory over the Brockton Rox (12-17) on Sunday at Vineyard Baseball Park.

The Brockton Rox couldn't get anything going so long as Tim Superko was on the hill. The Brockton Rox managed just three hits off of Superko, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Ben Porter had a hot bat for the Brockton Rox. Porter went 1-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the eighth inning.

James Muse (1-1) took the loss for the Brockton Rox. He allowed seven runs in two innings, walked three and struck out three.
