Jake Dexter was cold coming off the bench, but Dexter warmed up quickly as Dexter stroked a key pinch-hit single in the nine to lead the North Shore Navigators (13-16) to a 9-6 win over the Nashua Silver Knights (19-10) on Friday at Holman Stadium.

With Dexter came to the plate and singled, bringing home Nick DiBenedetto.

Mike DAcunti racked up three RBIs on three hits for the North Shore Navigators. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Dexter improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the North Shore Navigators. Dexter struck out two, walked one and gave up one hit.

Aubrey Solomon (1-2) took the loss for the Nashua Silver Knights. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
