The Marthas Vineyard Sharks (7-13) didn't put up much of a fight on Friday, as the North Shore Navigators (7-13) cruised to a blowout 8-0 win at Fraser Field.

A three-run home run by Colby Maiola (UMASS Lowell) delivered the runs in the seventh. The North Shore Navigators had three hits in the inning. 

Joey Pena (St. Thomas Aquinas) put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the North Shore Navigators. He doubled in the first and third innings and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Jake Dexter (Southern Maine) had an impressive outing against the Marthas Vineyard Sharks' lineup. Dexter gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Dillon Nelson (Indian Hills CC) went a perfect 5-5 at the dish for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. He singled in the first, third, fifth, seventh, and ninth innings.

Bobby Tramondozzi (UMASS Boston) improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the North Shore Navigators. Tramondozzi struck out two, walked four and gave up five hits.

Christian Bahlinger (0-1) (Spring Hill College) took the loss for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed five runs.

The North Shore Navigators' Maiola, Christian Cabrera (Broward CC) and Pena combined for six hits and five RBIs.
