Wednesday was a great day for Kyle Pangallo, as he hit two home runs to carry the Seacoast Mavericks (12-6) to a 4-1 victory over the Nashua Silver Knights (12-5) at Holman Stadium.
The Seacoast Mavericks relied on Casey Aubin to eat up innings en route to the win. Aubin pitched six innings and allowed no earned runs, seven hits and no walks while striking out three.
A bright spot for the Nashua Silver Knights in the defeat was Drew Fischer, who allowed only two runs while striking out six.
Fischer (1-1) took the loss for the Nashua Silver Knights.
The Seacoast Mavericks were sparked by Jacob Lebel and Pangallo, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs.
