Frankie Gregoire had two extra base hits, helping the Bristol Blues (11-10) to a 9-4 victory over the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (8-14) on Wednesday at Muzzy Field.

Scott Manea led the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the ninth inning.

Jacob Lamb had an impressive outing against the Bristol Blues' lineup. The Bristol Blues managed just one hit off of the the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

John Mormile improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Bristol Blues. He allowed three runs over six innings. Mormile struck out three, walked four and gave up four hits.

PJ Browne ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in two innings, walked three and struck out two.

The Bristol Blues were sparked by Gregoire and Zach Scott, who teamed up for four hits and four RBIs.
