The Worcester Bravehearts (10-3) took home a marathon 9-7 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (6-7) on Wednesday at Wahconah Park.

With the score tied at seven, Matthew Diesel came to the plate and singled, bringing home Mike Coggeshall.

Diesel racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Worcester Bravehearts. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fifth, tenth, and twelfth innings.

Thomas Hughes led the Pittsfield Suns' offensive threat, as he got on base six times in the game. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He singled in the first, third, eighth, and tenth innings.

Taylor Williams recorded his first win of the year for the Worcester Bravehearts. Williams struck out two, walked one and gave up one hit.

Kevin Hassett (0-1) took the loss for the Pittsfield Suns. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
