The Bristol Blues (6-5) didn't stand a chance on Tuesday, as the Worcester Bravehearts (7-3) captured a blowout 12-5 win at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitto.

Chad Miller (Saint Leo) had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He tripled in the first inning, singled in the fourth inning, and doubled in the seventh inning.

Peter Bovenzi (Richmond) had an impressive outing against the Bristol Blues' lineup. The Bristol Blues managed just one hit off of the the Worcester Bravehearts' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Austin Chauvin (St. Marys) racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Bristol Blues. He singled in the first, fourth, and eighth innings.

Eric Close (West Chester) improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Worcester Bravehearts. Close struck out three, walked none and gave up five hits.

Jacob Wallace (UCONN) ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
