The Seacoast Mavericks (5-5) and the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (5-5) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Seacoast Mavericks capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out an 8-7 win at Leary Field.

Michael Hart (UMASS) racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Seacoast Mavericks. He homered in the second inning and singled in the seventh inning.

The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs had no answer for Nathan Robinson (Cedarville University), who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Robinson held the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Ryne Ogren (Elon University) racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He singled in the first inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Connor Russell (Bates College) improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Seacoast Mavericks. He allowed three runs over six innings. Russell struck out one, walked one and gave up six hits.

Anthony Assante (St. Peters) (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in three innings, walked three and struck out five.
