The Seacoast Mavericks (4-5) and the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (4-5) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Seacoast Mavericks capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-5 win at Leary Field.

Kyle Pagallo (Barry University) racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Seacoast Mavericks. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the seventh innings.

Jack Fossand (Dartmouth) picked up the win for the Seacoast Mavericks. Fossand allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Marthas Vineyard Sharks' Steven Colella (UMASS Dartmouth) dominated the Seacoast Mavericks' batters, giving up two runs and striking out eight.

Mac Curran (UMASS Dartmouth) was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
