Logan Greene (UMASS) went 2-3 as the Bristol Blues (6-3) took home a 5-1 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (5-4) at Muzzy Field on Saturday.
He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.
Brandon Fox (Central Connecticut State) picked up the win for the Bristol Blues. Fox allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings of work.
Brandon Shileikis (Quinnipiac University) (0-1) took the loss for the Pittsfield Suns. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
