Ryan Sullivan (Southern New Hampshire) had two extra base hits, helping the Nashua Silver Knights (5-2) to a 5-2 victory over the Bristol Blues (4-3) on Thursday at Muzzy Field.

Seth Pinkerton (University of Hartford) pitched lights out for the Nashua Silver Knights. Pinkerton held the Bristol Blues hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four.

Michael Nocera (Merrimack) was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Nashua Silver Knights batters and allowing one run.

Mike Geannelis (UMASS) recorded his first win of the year for the Nashua Silver Knights. He allowed two runs over five innings. Geannelis struck out four, walked two and gave up seven hits.

Artavious Marsh (Faulkner) ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed three runs.

The Nashua Silver Knights were sparked by Sullivan and Mickey Gasper (Bryant University), who teamed up for three hits and three RBIs.
