The Seacoast Mavericks (2-4) didn't stand a chance on Wednesday, as the Pittsfield Suns (3-3) captured a blowout 9-3 win at Leary Field.

A three-run home run by Eric Hamilton (SUNY Oswego State) helped the Pittsfield Suns score three runs in the fourth. The Pittsfield Suns had five hits in the inning.

Colin Gimblet (Townson University) had two extra-base hits for the Pittsfield Suns. He doubled in the second inning, homered in the sixth inning, and singled in the ninth inning.

The Pittsfield Suns' lineup had no answer for Andrew Lalonde (SNHU). Lalonde held the Pittsfield Suns hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Jordan Muchin (ECONN) improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Pittsfield Suns. He allowed three runs over six innings. Muchin struck out three, walked two and gave up six hits.

Tyler Beck (Pasco Hernando SC) couldn't get it done on the mound for the Seacoast Mavericks, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked one and struck out four.
