The Top Speed Baseball scored in the eighth on an RBI double by Drew Taylor, an RBI double by Patrick ODonnell, a two-run double by Jake Pannunzio, a two-run single by Jacob Carrera, a two-run single by Carrera, and an RBI single by Matthew Martinez.
The Klamath Falls Gems jumped out to an early lead, but they were unable to hang on. The Klamath Falls Gems were ahead until the eighth inning, but the Top Speed Baseball would not be denied the win, taking the lead back on an RBI double by ODonnell.
ODonnell paced the Top Speed Baseball at the plate. ODonnell went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs.
Diego Ibarra's nine strikeouts were enough to push the Top Speed Baseball past the Klamath Falls Gems. Ibarra allowed three earned runs, six hits and no walks over seven innings.
Nolen Legan couldn't get it done on the mound for the Klamath Falls Gems, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
