Wes Carswell had two extra base hits, helping the Klamath Falls Gems (12-18) to a 4-1 victory over the Sacramento Heat (11-21) on Monday at McAuliffe Field.

The Sacramento Heat couldn't get anything going as long as Jacob Trujillo was pitching. Trujillo held the Sacramento Heat hitless over five innings, allowed one earned run, walked six and struck out four.

Connor Davis (1-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
