The bats were busy at David Story Field on Tuesday, and when the dust cleared the Everett (31-11) had a 9-8 win over the Lower Columbia (29-12) in seven innings.
The two teams combined for 21 hits in the game.
Josh McIntyre racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Everett. He singled in the first, second, and fourth innings.
Nick Hoskins pitched lights out for the Everett. Hoskins held the Lower Columbia hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
The Lower Columbia were led by Taylor Davis's hitting. Davis went 1-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the fourth inning.
Even though Mitch Augenstein allowed five runs over three innings he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. He struck out one, walked three and surrendered six hits.
Davis was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
