The Blue Mountain (6-38) beat the Big Bend (8-26) 10-5 in seven innings on Friday at BMCC Softball Field behind Sarah Bonner, who had two extra base hits.

Tifini Schorzman racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Big Bend. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Carlie Chaulsett-Utley got his second win for the Blue Mountain despite allowing five runs over seven innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered eight hits.

Olivia Harrison ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his twelfth loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.

Chaulsett-Utley, Addy Daubert, Bonner and Sydney Saxton Siaki helped lead the Blue Mountain. They combined for eight hits and nine RBIs.
