Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Tuesday as the Walla Walla (16-16) outscored the Blue Mountain (5-29) 15-10 in seven innings.
The teams totaled 32 hits in the game.
Erin Ware racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Walla Walla. He homered in the fourth inning and doubled in the fifth inning.
Aunika Turner racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Blue Mountain. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first, fourth, and seventh innings.
Even though Mallory Chavez allowed six runs over four innings he still recorded the victory, his ninth of the season. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered 10 hits.
Carlie Chaulsett-Utley ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in four innings, walked none and struck out one.
The Walla Walla easily handled the Blue Mountain pitching as eight hitters combined for 17 hits, 15 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
