The GateWay Community College and the Spokane (10-4) both threatened with rallies, but it was the GateWay Community College that eventually took advantage of them in an 8-7 win at Gateway Complex.

Alyssa Cervantes racked up five RBIs on two hits for the GateWay Community College. He singled in the first and seventh innings.

Ryelynn Mendoza had a hot bat for the Spokane. Mendoza went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Jade Allee recorded the win for the GateWay Community College even though he allowed seven runs over seven innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered 13 hits.

Makenzie Norwill couldn't get it done on the mound for the Spokane, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked six and struck out three.
