Jamie Yurick had two extra base hits, helping the North Idaho (35-13) to a 9-6 victory over the Spokane (29-20) on Wednesday at North Idaho Community College.

Ashlynn Bocook had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first and fifth innings and singled in the seventh inning.

Amber Hawkes got his fifteenth win for the North Idaho despite allowing six runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered eight hits.

Michele Strauss (23-8) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

Yurick, Abby Howard, Brittany Gay and Chloe McIntosh helped lead the North Idaho. They combined for six hits and seven RBIs.
