The Spokane jumped out to an early lead on the Clackamas (2-6) and captured a 14-6 victory on Friday at Clackamas Community College Sof.

Five runs in the first three innings allowed the Spokane (9-3) to put the game away early.

, , and a fielder's choice in the first inning fueled the Spokane's offense early.

Masaki Ishihara was the lone bright spot for the Clackamas in the loss.

Ishihara reached base two times in the game for the Clackamas. He doubled in the fifth inning.

Ishihara brought the heat against the Spokane during his outing. Ishihara held the Spokane hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Kasey Kelly racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Spokane. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Ben Castro pitched lights out for the Spokane. The Clackamas managed just one hit off of Castro, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Jared Smith recorded his third win of the year for the Spokane. He allowed two runs over four innings. Smith struck out five, walked none and gave up four hits.

Sage Dudick ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked six and struck out one.
